I am also in the process of writing a poem for my sister so she can use it on her Christmas cards this year. She asked me to look for a poem to use, but I thought one written especially for her would be better.
Sure! I wish I had a poem especially written for me! I wish I could write poems myself and have done several attempts but... well I am not gifted in that matter...:(((

I write mostly fiction (short story/novel form) but poetry is powerful...I've been thinking about taking it up again, as I did in college.
